The in-depth case study with 3-5 use cases is taken to understand better the needs and wants of different stakeholders regarding the opening up big research data. It is also to reveal possible problems and issues for data exploitation and find to solutions how to overcome these possible problems. At the end, the use cases are utilized to develop and demonstrate sustainable business cases for big research data providers that support open innovation. The primary data regarding use cases is collected mainly through interviews with the relevant stakeholders.
