Dissemination activities to boost the stakeholder engagement and to get people attracted to the S2S-project are well on the way.
The Fraunhofer Institute LBF presented Science2Society for example at the IAEC 2016, the International Automotive Engineering Conference (3./4. November 2016, Istanbul, Turkey) and discussed the benefits of Open Innovation and Open Science in the context of the training of young engineers.
Furthermore, on the 1st of December 2016 Virtual Vehicle and i2m attended the official presentation of the Austria‘s Open Innovation Strategy to the European Commission in Vienna. This event titled “The road towards a European Open Innovation Culture” was honoured by the presence of EU-Commissioner Carlos Moedas, one of the ambassadors of Open Innovation in the European research area.
