Organised by the Green Tech Cluster on the 4th of March 2017 in Graz (Austria), the motto of this event was “Developing together new innovation projects by lateral thinking”.
Accompanied for example by the presentation of IBM’s latest activities in cognitive computing to boost new products and services in the field of energy and environmental engineering, Aldo Ofenheimer presented the S2S-project. He illustrated how open innovation and open science can be used as an attractive mean to accelerate new product and service development by presenting first outcomes of the one-to-one knowledge transfer activities (S2S-pilot 6).
This stimulus served as a starting point for a vivid discussion with multiple R&D responsible persons from various sectors. First ideas for follow-up activities were already outlined.
